Vietnamese footballers have secured the No1 place in Southeast Asia in the latest FIFA ratings, the highest position since June 2013.
In the FIFA rankings announced on March 13, Vietnam jumped 18 places to the 125th position in the world, with 224 points in total, up 52 points from a month earlier.
Vietnam climbed six steps to rank 17th in Asia. Iran continues leading Asia, followed by Japan, Uzbekistan, and the Republic of Korea.
The world’s top three remained unchanged - Spain, Germany and Argentina
