Vietnam - Korea Food and Culture Festival to kick off

Coming to the festival, visitors will have an opportunity to enjoy good and diversify Korean foods, such as kim chi, Tteokbokki as well as learn how to cook Korea dishes.

To introduce local people to the culinary specialties and typical agricultural products of Korea, the Vietnam - Korea Food and Culture Festival 2014 will be held at Calidas Landmark 72 Keangnam Hotel, Hanoi  by the Embassy of Korea in Vietnam, the Vietnam’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Korea Project on International Agriculture (KOPIA), the Korea Agricultural Products Distribution Corporation (AT), the Korea International Exchange Fund and the Korea Tourism Administration from November 29th - 30th.
 
 
The event is expected to draw nearly 80,000 visitors and various Korean enterprises including Namyang diary, Paldo noodle, K-Mart, Star Korea, etc.
During the two-day festival, in addition to exploring the beauty of traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai and Korean Hanbok, a K-pop dance cover group St. 319 and singer Van Mai Huong will also perform.
Kids are also beneficiaries from a very interesting child’s corner.
Entrances are free. All proceeds from voucher sales (VND20,000/voucher). 
The event attracted the participations of more than 60,000 visitors last year, colleting USD7,000 from tickets and contribution from businesses. 
The fund spent on supporting victims of natural disasters and providing scholarships for pupils from low-income background.
