Vietnam-loving foreign friends are invited to vote for the country’s tourist destinations to win the World Travel Awards 2022.
Vietnam has been shortlisted in 10 categories of the World Travel Awards (WTA) 2022, according to the representative from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT).

This year, the country is nominated in the Asian region for Leading Destination, Leading Sustainable Tourism Destination, Leading Heritage Destination, Leading Cultural Destination, Leading Nature Destination, Leading Youth Travel Destination, and Leading Beach Destination.
Meanwhile, the capital city of Hanoi is shortlisted for Asia’s Leading City Break Destination and Asia’s Leading Cultural City Destination.
VNAT called on Vietnamese and foreign tourists to vote for Vietnam’s tourism, focusing on the categories of Leading destinations in Asia and Asia's Leading Sustainable, Heritage and Culture Tourism Destination.
To cast votes for Vietnam, people should visit https://www.worldtravelawards.com. The nominee gaining the most votes in a category will be the winner. Voting will close on August 31.

Vietnam won the title of Asia’s Leading Destination and Asia’s Leading Sustainable Tourism Destination at the WTA 2021.
Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh Province won the title of Asia’s Leading Tourist Attraction and Hoi An Ancient Town in Quang Nam Province won the category of Asia’s Leading Cultural City Destination.
The World Travel Awards were established in 1993 to acknowledge, reward, and celebrate excellence across all key sectors of the travel, tourism, and hospitality industries. Today, the WTA brand is recognized globally as the ultimate hallmark of industry excellence.
