Vietnam-Russia security cooperation stepped up

On March 14, Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quanga received Fetisov Andrey Alexandrovich – an official from the FSB who is leading a high-ranking delegation to Vietnam.

Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang hoped for deeper cooperation between his ministry and the Federal Security Service (FSB) of the Russian Federation, making contributions to maintaining social order and ensure security in each nation.

At the meeting, the Vietnamese minister affirmed that the Vietnam-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership has developed and gained significant and efficient achievements since its establishment in 2012. He also spoke highly of the outcomes of talks between the two security agencies during this visit.

For his part, the Russian official wanted Minister Quang to further his support in fostering collaboration between the two organisations for the two peoples’ benefits and regional and global stability.
