In the national tourism development strategy until 2020, China is considered a key source of tourists. It has continually ranked first among sources of foreign travelers to the Southeast Asian nation, accounting for 38% of total foreigners visiting here.
Earlier, the VNAT also coordinated with the Vietnam Television, Viettel Group, Vietnam's largest mobile network operator, and Nam Viet Communication Technology Development and Investment JSC to launch a smart tourism portal with name “VTV Travel” at . With VTV Travel, the people who love traveling will have another option for information on destinations to discover.
