Vietnamese AO victims presented wheelchairs by Former Japanese PM
A ceremony, organised by Former Japanese Prime Minister Hatoyama Yukio and the Institute of Community Health under the Ministry of Health, to hand over wheelchairs to Vietnamese Agent Orange/Dioxin (AO ) victims was held in the Ecopark township, Hung Yen province.

This is the second time the former Japanese PM Hatoyama Yukio Office and a Japanese association has donated wheelchairs to Vietnam.
At the event, 50 wheelchairs worth 3.98 million JPY (about 746 million VND) were presented to AO victims from provinces across the country, including Dong Nai, Hung Yen and Nghe An.
Hatoyama Yukio, who served as Prime Minister of Japan from September 2009 to June 2010, was also President of the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance.
Chairman of Vietnam Medical Association Pham Manh Hung said that the donating of wheelchairs to Vietnamese AO victims expressed the profound humanity, showing feeling and concern of Former Japanese Prime Minister Hatoyama Yukio, as well as the Japanese people for Vietnam.
