Vietnamese-based Hoa Binh tourism company recently inaugurated its representative office in Berlin, Germany.
The office is located inside the headquarters of local Asia Sky Tours company.
At the inauguration ceremony, the Vietnamese and German travel agencies signed a cooperation pact. As such, they agreed to design a roadmap to coordinate promotion programmes and tourism services.
Vietnamese Trade Counsellor Nguyen Huu Trang said he hoped the partnership will open up additional international links for Vietnamese firms in the field.
According to Nguyen Van Tuan, head of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, room for tourism cooperation between Vietnam and Germany remains extensive.
The number of German tourists travelling to Vietnam is estimated to double in the next five years, he said.
Hoa Binh is among some 50 Vietnamese tourism companies showcasing their products at the International International Tourism Exchange Berlin (ITB) in Germany. It took place from March 9 – 13 with participation from approximately 10,000 businesses from 187 countries and territories.
