Vietnam's largest investment project is commenced in Russia

On May 18, in the framework of his official visit to the Russian Federation, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended the launch of the first project on dairy cow breeding and farming by the Vietnamese dairy firm TH True Milk in Volokolamsk, Russia.

This is the first project of Vietnam in the field of producing and processing milk in Russia and is Vietnam's largest investment project in Russia.

The government leader highlighted the significance of the free trade agreement between Vietnam and the Eurasian Economic Union which opens the service and investment markets of both countries. He said Russia is a big and potential market for dairy products.

TH True Milk’s project will contribute to local agriculture, generate jobs for Russians and overseas Vietnamese living there, and diversify cooperative potential between Vietnam and Russia.

PM Phuc said Vietnamese government will continue to support the project and asked the investor to ensure investment capital, and working conditions to its employees. He said he hopes the project would become a symbol of successful cooperation between the two nations.

Moscow Governor Andrey Vorobiev hailed TH True Milk’s efforts to launch the project on the schedule and expressed his confidence in the project, which he believed will become an example for farming collaboration between the two countries’ enterprises and localities.
