Vietnam’s Tourism Ambassador return to Ha Long Bay – Kong: Skull Island filming scenes
In early June 2017, director Jordan Vogt-Roberts has invite “Star Wars” director Gareth Edwards to Ha Long Bay - Kong: Skull Island.

During the journey, Jordan Vogt-Roberts introduced his colleague to the beauty of Trang An landscape complex and the filming location of the blockbuster film “Kong: Skull Island”. The two American film directors are impressed by the beautiful landscape. They also visit the tribal village. Director Gareth Edwards is very impressed at the reproduction of the Kong filming location.
Kong: Skull Island tells the story of a group of explorers who go in search of the birthplace of the lord of giant apes. It was shot in Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh, Van Long Natural Reserve and Trang An Complex in Ninh Binh, and the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park in Quang Binh.
On the meeting with Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) at April’s late 2017, Tourism Ambassador Jordan Vogt-Roberts informed his plans to promote Vietnam tourism in the coming time. Accordingly, he would suggest Hollywood’s filmmakers to visit Vietnam where they can find inspiration for their films. This would also be an opportunity for Vietnamese film crews to exchange experiences with the foreign partners.
Tourism Ambassador Jordan Vogt-Roberts said he was planning to produce a short video footage introducing Vietnam’s attractions which featured the beauty of nature and unique culture of Vietnam.
“Kong: Skull Island” was the famous blockbuster has turned the bay into one of the hottest travel destinations this year. The impressive “Kong: Skull Island” took the world by storm, Ha Long Bay, already a top attraction, has become even more famous, now a must-visit destination of 2017. In order to give visitors an opportunity to enjoy the wonderful sights of Ha Long, the Paloma Cruise will welcome the glorious summer of 2017 with many attractive offers.
