VinaPhone's 4G speed to reach 10 times faster than 3G

After Viettel network, the VinaPhone recently launched the commercial trial of 4G mobile internet services in Phu Quoc Island and HCM City. Checked by the specialized software, the average speed of 4G is 10 times faster than 3G.

In the testing phase, the VinaPhone pilot 4G services in some center districts in HCM City and the entire of Phu Quoc island district.
After officially licensed, 4G coverage will be expanded to other cities such as Hanoi, Da Nang and HCM City.
A total of 150 base transceiver stations for 4G were installed in HCM City and Phu Quoc Island to help cover for subscription-based services like 4G high quality video (Mobile TV), Live streaming video transmission (Mobile Broadcast), conferencing (Cloud Video Conferencing) and services using virtual machines (DASS).

The company confirmed that the price of 4G service will not higher than the 3G service.
Before VinaPhone, in mid-December 2015, Viettel network also tested 4G services in the southern province of Ba Ria - Vung Tau. The average speed of 4G is from 40-80Mb per second, some locations reaching 230Mb per second.
4G refers to the fourth generation of mobile data transmitting technology, which offers speeds of up to 1.5 gigabits per second, several hundred times faster than 3G. 
Vietnamese network providers have launched 4G trial programmes following a rapid increase in the number of subscribers.
These network providers will be permitted to provide 4G commercially from next year.
