Visa-free stay for foreign tourists in Phu Quoc is 30 days

Phu Quoc Island is an ideal choice for travel and relaxation, with a visa-free policy for international visitors, allowing foreigners to stay up to 30 days without a visa, rich nature and stunning architecture.

Favorable visa policy

Phu Quoc is currently the destination in Vietnam that enjoys the most favorable visa policy.

According to current legal regulations, from July 1, 2020, foreign passport holders traveling to Phu Quoc Island will be entitled to a visa-free stay period of no more than 30 days.

Foreigners entering Vietnam through any international border gate of Vietnam and then moving to Phu Quoc Island are exempted from visa requirements following this regulation.

Phu Quoc is famous for its beautiful and dreamlike beaches.

Phu Quoc is entitled to this visa policy because it is the only island that meets four conditions for visa exemption for foreigners under Vietnamese law. It has an international airport, is an independent space, has defined geographical boundaries, is separated from the mainland, and is consistent with the policy of socio-economic development that does not pose a threat to national defense, security, social order and safety of Việt Nam.

As an isolated island in the Gulf of Thailand, southwest of Việt Nam, Phu Quoc is conveniently accessible by air, sea and land. Tourists visiting this island can enter and exit through three international border posts: Phu Quoc International Airport Border Post, Ha Tien International Border Post and Duong Dong Port International Border Post, Phu Quoc.

Hon Thom, the world's longest cable car, is in the South of Phu Quoc island.

Currently, many international routes with multiple daily flights operate to Phu Quoc, including India, Korea, Thailand and Malaysia. Many foreign airlines are considering opening routes to Phu Quoc. Transportation on the island is also very convenient. Tourists can easily travel by taxi and bus or experience the Duong Dong - An Thoi bus and vice versa. In particular, tourists who have purchased tickets for Sun World Phu Quoc will receive free bus tickets for the Duong Dong - An Thoi route.

Attractive nature with many impressive architectural works

Phu Quoc is one of the most popular destinations for tourists from all over the world.

Tourists visiting pearl island can enjoy the fresh air with warm sunshine all year round and explore the rich and dreamy island paradise.

There are the beaches listed as "the most beautiful in the world", with fine white sand and clear water, such as Bai Kem and Bai Sao; the small islands of An Thoi, such as Hon Thom, Hon May Rut, Hon Mong Tay and Hon Dam Ngang, with pristine beauty, diverse marine forest ecosystems, colorful coral reefs and amazing rocky cliffs.

There are also romantic sunsets when the sun turns the ocean red on the southwest coast of the island, or the end point of Cape Ong Doi, a "unique" place where tourists can watch the sunset and sunrise in the same place.

The attractive natural beauty of the An Thoi archipelago of Phu Quoc captivates tourists.

Besides freely exploring the sea and islands with many attractive activities such as swimming on the beach, kayaking, diving and coral viewing, canoeing around the islands, and night squid fishing, tourists visiting Phu Quoc also discover the unique indigenous culture, the world of products, rich and fresh specialties such as pepper, seafood, Phu Quoc fish sauce; visiting many historical sites such as Phu Quoc Prison, and Dinh Cau tourist attraction.

Possessing a unique natural beauty, Phu Quoc has been compared to well-known tourist paradises such as Maldives, Phuket (Thailand) and Bali (Indonesia).

In 2022, Phu Quoc was named "the world's most attractive natural island" at the World Travel Awards ceremony, beating six destinations from other continents, including many islands once known as paradises such as Zanzibar in Tanzania or Lofoten in Norway.

Earlier, the world-famous travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler announced the list of the 35th Readers' Choice Awards, with Phu Quoc being the only Vietnamese representative honored in the "Top 10 Most Loved Islands in Asia".

Phu Quoc has also won many titles, such as Travel + Leisure's Top 25 Most Beautiful Islands in the World in 2022 or International Living's Top 15 Best Islands for Retirement.

Phu Quoc's diverse and rich marine life

In addition, Phu Quoc also brings together world-class works that honor architectural art and culture, such as Sunset Town, Asia's largest multimedia technology show on the water - Kiss The Stars, the architectural art "museum" Sun Signature Gallery, luxury resorts with stunning design such as JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort, New World Phu Quoc Resort, Premier Village Phu Quoc Resort, Sun World Phu Quoc beach leisure complex with the world's longest cable car.

All these works combine the quintessence of architecture with local culture and have been built in harmony with the nature of Phu Quoc.

Tourists visiting Sunset Town, in the south of the island, will be able to check in at the Kissing Bridge, in the middle of the ocean. A unique architectural masterpiece created by Sun Group in collaboration with the famous architect Marco Casamonti, the Kissing Bridge will be a symbolic work of connection without limits, honoring the value of love and friendship. It will soon join the list of the most famous bridges in the world.

Impressive and admirable architectural work of the pearl island of Phu Quoc

With an incomparably favorable visa policy that creates maximum convenience for international tourists, amazing nature, rich culture, friendly and warm people, and impressive architectural works, Phu Quoc is on its way to becoming the new destination of the world.

This island deserves to be the ideal choice for long-term vacations, lavish weddings of the world's elite, programs, MICE activities and international events.
