Viet Nam and Mongolia should expand cooperation in agriculture, animal husbandry, industry, energy and processing in the coming time, said Deputy PM Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai.
Deputy PM Hai made the suggestion on March 19 in Ha Noi while receiving Mongolian Minister of Industry and Agriculture Kh.Battulga who was present in Viet Nam for the 15th annual meeting of the Vietnam-Mongolia Intergovernmental Committee.
According to Deputy PM Hai, the two countries should also boost exchanges of high-ranking delegations, support each other at international forums and create favourable conditions for the fullfillment of the signed agreement.
He spoke highly of the outcomes of the committee’s meeting, saying that they will serve as an important foundation to further foster cooperation between the two countries’ agencies and partners in the fields of politics, economy, culture and education.
For his part, the Mongolian Minister hoped that the two Governments will create conditions to realize the signed deals and jointly mark the 60th anniversary of their bilateral diplomatic ties next year.
The Mongolian Ministry will pave the most favourable conditions for Mongolian firms to beef up trade and investment cooperation in the areas of aquaculture and agriculture, he added.
