Hanoi Times - The Vietnam Post and Telecommunications (VNPT) and Intel on November 30 launched a large sale promotion “Welcome 2008” for Internet and computer users in the country.
The programme aims to enhance broadband Internet connectivity and accessibililty among local people, making Internet a useful tool to open up the door to the world of knowledge to further enrich their lives.
As the two leading largest ICT groups in Vietnam, VNPT and Intel wish to enable local users to approach the latest products and the most advanced technologies with higher performance, better energy efficiency and lower prices.
Accordingly, from December 1, 2007 to January 14, 2008, VNPT will offer free installation charge, a ADSL modem or six month use charges with a total promotion value of VND 1 million/a subscriber.
Moreover, local customers who purchase desktop PCs and laptop with the latest Intel technologies will have chances to receive helmets, webcams or computer mouses.
During the promotion time, each week there will be a lucky draw for all all customers who have subscribed to VNPT’s ADSL services and bought desktop PCs and laptops with Intel technologies with a scooter Attilla* Elizabeth as the prize.
Customers can join the programme by contacting VNPT retailer shops to subscribe to their ADSL services, contacting Intel channel retailers across the country to purchase affordable PCs and join the lucky draw.
