VOVWorld.vn launched with numerous foreign languages

Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) has launched a website providing listeners with the news and information in Vietnamese and 11 foreign languages.

The Hanoitimes - Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) has launched a website providing listeners with the news and information in Vietnamese and 11 foreign languages.

The website, also at VOV5.vn, uploads writings and audio files in 12 different languages including English, French, Russian, Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin, and German, as well as Lao, Thai, Cambodian, Indonesian and Vietnamese.

According to Doan Thi Trung, head of the VOV overseas service department, the newly-launched website will broadcast audio files in 12 languages seven days a week so listeners can follow their favourite programs at any time.

Since the website debuted about a month ago, it has received a lot of positive feedback from listeners saying they find it very convenient for catching up o­n programs they missed during the week.

VOVWorld.vn is expected to become an important bridge between Vietnam and international friends.
