Hanoi Times - Over the past three years, the Centre for Agricultural Scientific Studies under the Vietnamese Peasants’ Association and the Informatics Center under the Ministry of Science and Technology have cooperated with provinces and cities to build 51 models in which farmers apply information technology (IT) at communes and precincts.
Hanoi Times - Over the past three years, the Centre for Agricultural Scientific Studies under the Vietnamese Peasants’ Association and the Informatics Center under the Ministry of Science and Technology have cooperated with provinces and cities to build 51 models in which farmers apply information technology (IT) at communes and precincts.
These models have been carried out in Hanoi and other localities such as Tuyen Quang, Bac Giang, Lang Son, Bac Can, Nam Dinh, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho and Thai Binh under the form of peasants’ clubs of science and technology. on average, more than 500 farmers in each place have accessed to the internet and exchanged experiences.
Over the past years, there have been about 35,000 hits from farmers freely accessing the website of the Vietnamese Peasants’ Association which stores nearly 4,000 solutions for the application of science and technology in production.
