Noi Bai International Airport named "World's most improved airport" award

KTĐT - Rising 136 levels and ranked among the world’s top 100 best airports this year, Noi Bai International Airport was presented the "World's Most Improved Airport" award from Skytrax in Germany’s Cologne city on March 16.
Hamad International Airport in Doha and Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport came in second and third of the category, respectively. According to the annual result evaluated by airfields, airports and airlines around the world of Skytrax, the UK’s specialist research advisor to the air transport industry, Noi Bai International Airport was named the world's most improved airport in 2016.

This is a survey of passengers at 555 international airports worldwide, based on the criteria of the level of improved services quality and satisfaction at airports such as VIP rooms, toilet gas, sales services, meals, entry and exit procedures, security, and time to receive baggage.
Beside the "World's Most Improved Airport" award, Noi Bai also jumped 136 levels to rank 82nd among the world’s top 100 best airports this year.
Addressing the event, Mr.Edward Plaisted, Chairman of Skytrax, said: "Noi Bai's award chosen by customers worldwide demonstrates the reputation of Hanoi's international airport as well as contributes to attract more foreign visitors to Vietnam."
According to leaders of the Civil Aviation Administration, the title showed Noi Bai international airport's remarkable improvements after putting the terminal T2 into operation in early 2015.
The Skytrax World Airport Awards are the most prestigious accolades for the airport industry which are voted by customers in the largest annual global airport customer satisfaction survey conducted by Skytrax.
