Hanoi to apply IT in natural resources and environment

The Hanoi Department of Natural Resources and Environment granted Plan No. 2258/KH-STNMT-TTCNTT on strengthening the application of information technology (IT) in its operation in 2018 to serve local residents and enterprises.

Under the plan, the department sets up the following key targets: providing 55% of online administrative procedures at level 3, 4; using software of the one-stop-shop sector connecting the city’s online services at level 3, 4; basically completing projects on land data so as to ensure the management of land data in the capital city; building land data and information system of natural resources and environment for the Capital’s socio - economic development; 100% of officials will use e-mails to exchange information of public duties; 100% of officials and public servants will get training on using IT equipments to meet requirements of duties.
To fulfill the above goals, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment will synchronously take many solutions, including: combining the application of IT with administrative reform; ensuring smooth operation of information transmission network in sectors and units; maintaining the wide information network to sever activities of the department and its subordinate units; maintaining the system liking the Ha Noi Land Registration Office to offices in districts, towns to ensure the direction and operation.
Besides, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment will focus on adjusting, repairing and completing software of one-stop-shop mechanism, document and dossier management; providing information on its portal to meet requirements of management, direction and operation; promoting the application of IT so that the department meets standards of e-agency issued by the Capital city.
