The Vietnamese trade unions on March 13 launched an online legal advisory system for workers, the government portal Chinhphu.vn reported.
Workers can send their questions by either writings or voice concerning labor regulations, union, social insurance, safety and occupational health. The system automatically analyzes the contents to provide appropriate answers.
During the pilot period, from November 2018 till now, the system has received 46,409 questions, and given answers up to 90% of them, equaling to the workload of 15 human consultants performed in one year.
The system can be integrated on smart phones, tablets, popular social networks, automatic answering telephone switchboards, fixed answering kiosks in industrial zones, export processing zones, big enterprises, areas with large amount of workers and so on.
Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam highly valued the online legal consulting system. He required the system’s developers to expand topics of question and answer, regularly update answers.
“Applying information technology in financial and economic issues will help the system to be transparent and save a lot money. These are specific actions to seizs opportunities from the Fourth Industrial Revolution,” Dam stressed.
