As of present, four Vietnamese airlines are operating 14 flight routes to South Korean’s major cities.

Airports Council International forecasts that Vietnam will have the fastest air passenger growth in the world in the period of 2018-2040 with an average annual growth rate of 6.2%.

Kite Air targets to be a budget airline with a focus on domestic routes, aiming to serve passengers in provinces/cities with underdeveloped aviation infrastructure.

Experts believed that the government’s decision on increasing foreign holding will be a springboard for foreign investors to penetrate into the Vietnamese burgeoning market.
