The exhibition was organized by the Vietnam Pictorial under the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) in coordination with a magazine of the Guangxi Broadcasting Service (GXBS) of China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Editor-in-chief of the Vietnam Pictorial Nguyen Thang said that with 100 outstanding photos, the exhibition will attract the attention of peoples from the two countries.
“The event is hoped to further enhance mutual understanding between the people of Vietnam and China, as well as deepen the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, thereby contributing to regional and international peace, cooperation, friendship and development,” said Nguyen Thang.
In recent years, press agencies of Vietnam and China have cooperated and assisted each other to fulfil their dissemination tasks, Thang added.

On his side, Cultural Counselor of China’s Embassy to Vietnam Peng Shi Tuan said that the exhibition is expected to boost the co-operation in culture as well as media organizations of Vietnam and China.
The exhibition is proof of the effective collaboration between the Vietnam Pictorial and the Guangxi Broadcasting Service. This year marks 10th anniversary of the establishment of a comprehensive strategic co-operation between Vietnam and China.
