Beautiful photos of “Ao dai” (traditional long dress) themed "Vuon xua” (Old garden) are being introduced by painter and photographer Nguyen Quoc Dung at No. 29 Hang Bai street, Hanoi from November 3-7.

Painter and photographer Nguyen Quoc Dung (DzungArt) has held more than 10 solo exhibitions and group exhibitions at home and abroad.
He has implemented some successful solo exhibitions such as painting exhibitions of "Duyen xua I" in 2003, "Duyen xua II" in 2005 and the photo exhibition "Mau thoi gian" in 2013.
In 2017, he will join an exhibition of a group of painters and photographers in India.
"Vuon xua" exhibition includes 38 large photos printed on canvas fabric. The photos present 38 small stories, 38 perspectives on Vietnamese women.
Visiting the exhibition, viewers will meet images of traditional long dress in old time, which has been a theme throughout the works of artist Nguyen Quoc Dung, while the image of Vietnamese girls seem to be fresh and more optimistic.
The layout and colour of the photos are brighter and faster than those of previous exhibitions. Characters and locations in the photos at this exhibition are not only in the North, but also in all three regions of the country.
The exhibition will contribute proceeds from the sale of the first three photos to the fund "Rice with Meat" of journalist Tran Dang Tuan.
