Conductor Alexander Polyanichko will be joined by Japanese pianist Tamura Hibiki. The night performances will feature Piano Concerto No1 and Symphony No5 by Tchaikovsky.
The concert will open with Hibiki's playing Piano Concerto No1. The pianist is studying at the University Mozarteum of Salzburg in Austria. The concert will begin at 8pm at the Hanoi Opera House. Tickets are available at No1 Trang Tien Street, No 20 Nui Truc Street and No 8 Nha Chung Street.
He has won many awards, including the first prize at the Long-Thibaud International Piano Competition in France, 2007. He has performed in France, Germany, Italy, Egypt and China.
Conductor Polyanichko is a violinist. He studied conducting music at the St Petersburg Conservatoire. Since then, he has performed with the Mariinsky Opera and Ballet Theatre in many countries.
He has worked with major opera companies from across the world, including the Bolshoi Theatre, the Danish Royal Opera and the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
