A glimpse of the 24K gold Lunar New Year 2025 Snake Mascot

As the Year of the Snake draws near in 2025, this revered creature takes on a special significance, symbolizing prosperity, smooth transitions and success for the coming year.

In Eastern culture, the snake is more than just a zodiac sign; it represents rebirth, transformation, and the promise of new opportunities in the coming year.

Demand has soared due to the increasing popularity of Feng Shui items and gold-plated gifts, especially during the Lunar New Year season. Many artisan workshops have quickly responded by creating their finest 24K gold-plated snake statues and mascots to celebrate the upcoming Year of the Snake.

These intricate, high-end products are not just gifts- they are embodiments of wishes for good fortune, success, and personal growth.
Powerful symbols of good luck and wisdom, the gold-plated snake statues are often decorated with delicate inlaid patterns.
Many of these statues are meticulously crafted, with careful attention to facial expressions and the overall spirit of the piece.
Nguyen Tung Lam, a prominent craftsman in Hanoi, said: "Making a snake mascot is not only about the aesthetics of the body, but also capturing the right essence in the eyes and mouth. The head should be upright and exude a sense of peace, without fangs, to reflect harmony and happiness".
These meticulously crafted pieces come in various forms, from stunning 24K gold plated snake paintings to large statues such as the 60x35x69cm black turtle sculpture, which can fetch up to VND150 million or US$5900.
Artwork prices can go up to VND 10 million ($400), depending on size and customization.
For those seeking exclusivity, many artisans offer custom designs, transforming personal photos into three-dimensional masterpieces with vibrant, embossed details.
As the Lunar New Year of the Snake looms, these gold-plated snake figurines offer more than just a decorative touch, but a deeper cultural connection to the values of good fortune, prosperity and transformation, making them the perfect way to usher in the year ahead.
This gold-plated painting would be a perfect item to decorate your home.
