Allocating 3,100 billion VND to develop university education
The Prime Minister has directed plans to allocate loan from the World Bank to improve facilities and education quality in universities.
Accordingly, the Prime Minister has asked the Ministry of Planning and Investment to collaborate with relevant ministries to allocate a VND3,100 billion loan from the World Bank to improve facilities and education quality in public universities.
The PM said that the capital allocation will focus on unfinished projects as well as projects fulfilling investment procedures in line with current regulations.
The PM also asked the Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Construction, Vietnam National University-Hanoi and Vietnam National University-HCM City to complete investment procedures for new projects.
Capital spent on construction and equipment should be based on university education demands
and ensure these project to be early put into operation.
