Tay Thien complex, around 85 kilometers from Hanoi, is often crowded during the country’s traditional Lunar New Year holiday as it is known as a cradle of Buddhism in Vietnam.
The area comprising several temples is situated on a side of Thach Ban mount of Tam Dao mountain range. To get to the highest temple in the area, visitors should take an electric cart ride from Thong Temple at the foot of the mountain to the cable car station. From there, they ride a cable car to the site.
The cable car ride is also exciting as riders can take a look at the green foliage of the forest beneath or the beautiful skyline from afar.
A peaceful environment is what characterizes the site. They can inspect how Buddhist religion and religious belief are practiced and the typical architecture of temples in the country’s north.
