Accordingly, Da Nang has designed a wide range of tours to serve 10,000 delegates to the APEC Summit 2017 set to transpire on November 6 to 11.

According to Deputy Director of the provincial tourism department, Tran Chi Cuong, the department is waiting for the approval of APEC 2017 National Committee.
Six tours including Ngu Hanh Son tourist site which is linked to other destinations such as Museum of Cham Sculpture, Son Tra peninsula, and the ancient town of Hoi An. Other tours include Ba Na Hills, Danang-Imperial City of Hue, Than Tai Mountain hot spring, and Han River Cruise.
In addition, about 13,000 hotel rooms are available at seaside resorts and hotels in Da Nang for APEC delegations. The provincial tourism department has recently provided training on hotel reception and culinary arts for chefs and hotel staff during the APEC Summit.
Meanwhile, the APEC Finance Ministers Meeting will be held in Hoi An City in the central province of Quang Nam from October 19 to 21. Quang Nam Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism have designed several tours to serve APEC delegates. A highlight of the tours is that delegates will wear Ao Dai (traditional long dress) costume to visit the ancient town of Hoi An.
Seven groups of tours have been submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the APEC 2017 National Committee for approval including tours of Hoi An Heritage Site, My Son relics site, traditional craft village, boat cruise, Cham Islands (Cu Lao Cham), mountainous areas and the southern region of Quang Nam.
Quang Nam province pays special attention to sea and island tourism with a focus on traditional customs and fishermen lives. The UNESCO-recognised Cu Lao Cham Biosphere Reserve is identified as the major destination during the APEC Summit.
Earlier, Hue city organized the APEC High-Level Policy Dialogue on Women and the Economy. Thua Thien Hue province’s department of tourism has co-ordinated with travel companies to design half-day tours for delegates to visit local tourist attractions such as Tam Giang Lagoon and the ancient village of Phuoc Tich.
Hue songs will be performed on boat tours on Huong (Perfumed) River, which will provide APEC delegates with new experiences.
