Boosting cooperation opportunities between Vietnam and Germany

Vietnam-Germany relations have been strengthened in all areas after the visit of Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung to the Federal Republic of Germany in 2008.

On the occasion of second official visit of Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung to the Federal Republic of Germany in two days of October 14-15, Vietnam Ambassador in Germany, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoang Anh, has expressed the markers important in Vietnam-German relations through time and trust in the new cooperation opportunities are being opened up in the bilateral relations. 
Ambassador Nguyen Thi Hoang Anh said the Vietnam-Germany relations have been strengthened in all areas after a visit to the Federal Republic of Germany's Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung in 2008. 
"Agreement on Strategic Partnership for the Future" was signed in 2011 during the visit of German Chancellor Vietnam has been actively implemented, are specified in the action plan across all sectors. 
Ambassador said that since the Vietnam visit by German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Vietnam-Germany relations have achieved a very specific steps, in which many projects are underway, such as tram line project Metro of second home projects in Germany and Vietnam-Germany University in Ho Chi Minh City. 
Not only cooperation in areas of trade, investment, German aid is also intended to develop greater cooperation to Vietnam; particularly in vocational training, energy sector, climate change. 
The head of Vietnam diplomatic missions in Germany this year also said the embassy took five "Diplomacy economic development," transitional year in preparation for the 40th anniversary of Vietnam and Germany set establishment of diplomatic relations. 
According to the ambassador, the visit to Germany by the Minister of Planning and Investment Bui Quang Vinh and The Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang for meetings, business forums, investment promotion this was held on the occasion of opening up huge opportunities for businesses looking to different sides. 
Besides, Vietnam Embassy in Germany also helped patchwork of local cooperation between Vietnam's cities, the states in Germany. 
According to the Ambassador, this is the model and the effective operation should be further promoted in the future deployment. 
Ambassador Nguyen Thi Hoang Anh also said that Germany chose Vietnam to host business forum of the German Asia-Pacific (APK) with the participation of more than 700 enterprises, showing the German side attaches great key markets of Vietnam and eager to learn investment opportunities in Vietnam. 
Germany during the visit of Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, Vietnam and Economic Forum held in the city of Stuttgart in Baden-Wurteberg, with the participation of 200 enterprises of the two countries and this will be a great opportunity for business both sides now learn cooperation opportunities and further strengthen the activities of their investment. 
On the results of economic cooperation, Germany is the country with the balance of trade with Vietnam in the EU's largest, surpassed $ 7.7 billion in 2013 and is on track to rolling 10 billion mark in the next few years .
