Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen will pay an official visit to Vietnam from December 26-28 at the invitation of his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Tan Dung.
Relations between Vietnam and Cambodia have developed considerably since the two countries established diplomatic ties in 1967.
Both countries have established the ties of fine neighbourliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term stability.
Ministry of Commerce Secretary of State Kem Sithan said Vietnam is one of Cambodia’s key trade partners in the region.
Two-way trade hit nearly US$2.7 billion in the first nine months of this year, a year on year increase of 10%, and the figure is expected to rise to US$3.5 billion this year.
