Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi is due to make a visit to Vietnam from October 26-27, the Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on October 24.
The visit is made at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh.
Minh and his host will co-host the 7th Meeting of the Vietnam-China Steering Committee for Bilateral Cooperation.
Earlier, State Councilor Yang Jiechi also attended a meeting of the committee held in June in Hanoi.
