The 9th Meeting of the Joint Coordination Committee for the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Development Triangle Area (CLV DTA) opened in Siem Reap, Cambodia on September 12.
Ministers hailed the great participation of provinces in CLV DTA for organizing a tourism and trade fair from March 1-2, 2014 and youth forum in Kro Chec.
Similar activities are encouraged to strengthen cooperation and share information on economy, trade and tourism among localities in CLV DTA.
They attached great importance on boosting CLV DTA cooperation in security, external affairs, economy, culture, education and training, and the environment to promote regional peace and development in the region.
They appreciated Vietnam’s organization of CLV DTA Development Partnership Forum in the Central Highland province of Dak Lak in April which attracts 170 delegates.
Leaders asked sub-committees to accomplish their task before CLV senior meeting scheduled for Vientiane, Laos from November 23-25.
