Hanoi-Prague direct flight route is one of some projects that Vietnam and the Czech Republic are expected to jointly work on in the upcoming time, a Czech parliament official has stated.

Filip said that the Czech Republic might receive about 3,000 to 4,000 Vietnamese nurses to the work and study in the country.
Filip and Vietnam’s Ministry of Health leaders also agreed to not only receive and train nurses but also Vietnamese doctors in the Czech Republic and vice versa.
The official also worked with the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of National Defense to promote cooperation between the two countries in those fields.
Another awaited project is the relocation of a part of Czech carmaker Skoda’s manufacturing line in Vietnam, Filip informed, hoping Czech PM Andrej Babis to visit Vietnam when work on the project starts.
During the meeting, Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc thanked the Czech Republic’s support to Vietnam’s nomination as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council in the 2020-2021 period.
The prime minister welcomed the aforementioned cooperation projects on health, automobile and the direct flight, and asserted that Vietnam would create smooth conditions for these projects.
He considered that these specific measures can help boost cooperation in both sides, especially in term of economy and trade as the two-way trade turnover has risen modestly, reaching US$307 million in 2018.
