Famously known as “Heaven on earth”, Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden or Nong Nooch traditional village is attracting thousands of tourists coming here to discover and experience every day.
Situated at the beautiful valley in Chon Buri Province, the Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden covers tens of hecta and is surrounded with hills and mountains, bringing a fresh atmosphere. The Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden is worldly hailed for its natural beauty. Opened in 1980, Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden is always one of the most-visited tourist attraction in Thailand.
Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden are surrounded with various plants and flowers. The most distinctive is a garden of orchids, which can satisfy whoever with a passion for photography. Moreover, there are approximately 20,000 plants and flowers of tropical regions. The artists here have skillfully organize flowers and plants so that they are harmonious with other works, thus connecting nature with people.
Besides tropical gardens, Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden also has theme parks, entertainment cultural shows performing areas. Every day, depending on the number of visitors, there will be 3 – 4 cultural shows including Thai traditional music and dances. Moreover, visitors will be impressed by performances of elephants playing football, riding bicycle, drawing paintings and massaging for visitors. Besides, in traditional cuisine areas, visitors can enjoy Thai traditional foods and other specialties from all over the world. The garden also has a meeting room capable of having 300 people and an outdoor room with 3,000 people.
With the combination of Ecotourism, cultural & art performance, and cuisine, every day, the Nong Nooch cultural village receives from 2,000 – 3,000 visitors. This is also an ideal destination for Thai students in outdoor activities, scientists and biologists in plants study.
