Deputy PM Hoang Trung Hai urged the northern province of Quang Ninh to lure both domestic and foreign resources to build a modern infrastructure and competitiveness.
The Government leader made the point on June 28 at a meeting on the reform of investment promotion and improvement of competitiveness which was jointly held by the local authorities and the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
Mr. Hai proposed the locality focus on the transport system, including the road linking Ha Long city with the Ha Noi-Hai Phong highway, the Ha Long-Van Don-Mong Cai highway, and the Van Don international airport.
He also affirmed that the Government would apply appropriate mechanisms and policies so that Quang Ninh would be the leading locality in implementing Government’s resolution 19/NQ-CP on measures to improve the investment environment./.
