Deputy PM Pham Binh Minh would lead a Vietnamese delegation to attend the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2014 (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland from January 22-25.
Deputy PM Minh would attend seminars discussing global issues like an agenda on agricultural transformation, the defining of demands and trends in 2014 and impacts of ASEAN re-shaping on East Asian growth.
On the sidelines of WEF, the Deputy PM would have bilateral contacts with leaders of other countries.
So far, 11 Vietnamese big economic groups and corporations have become WEF members, of which FPT group, VinGroup, VinaCapital were the three founding members.
The 44th annual meeting has, at the heart of its agenda, a main theme entitled ‘The Reshaping of the World: Consequences for Society, Politics and Business’.
