It`s time for actions to protect the future of our children, said the World Bank’s country director for Vietnam.
The World Bank’s Country Director for Vietnam Ousmane Dione has called for immediate actions against climate change in the country, saying that each Vietnamese should be a climate warrior.
Taking actions is our responsibilities for protecting the life and the earth for our children, Ousmane Dione said at Earth Hour 2019 held in Hanoi on Saturday evening [March 30], according to the Vietnam Television (VTV).
He said that we owe the nature and it’s not time for saying sorry, it’s time for actions.
“Saving energy contributes to saving the earth and also saving the future of our children,” Ousmane Dione said at the event which was broadcast live.
With the theme “Save Energy, Save Earth”, the event conveyed specific messages focusing on methods towards energy efficiency.
