The 10th International Environment and Energy Technology Exhibition (Entech Vietnam 2018) will be held from May 9 - 11, attracting 120 local and foreign enterprises in fields of energy and environment.
The event was hosted by Center for Environment Consultancy and Technology (CECT) - Vietnam Environment Agency in collaboration with Global Expo and Event (Global Expo) and Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO) in Ho Chi Minh city.
Under the theme "Green technology and product - Action for the future", Entech 2018 "is a meaningful practical and important activity to further improve community's awareness about the technology, green products and services which are friendly with environment," said Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Hong Ha in his welcome letter.
"This event also offers an opportunity for domestic and foreign manufacturers to exhibit and introduce the newest environment and energy products, equipment, technologies and services."
Thereby they can establish and develop business relations, associate investment cooperation, trade promotion and transfer new technologies. This event is additionally a good chance for local and international experts, scientists, managers, business community to join together to exchange, develop strategies, identify needs and promote green production in Vietnam and the region's economy towards sustainable development.
By participating in Entech Vietnam 2018, enterprises from Vietnam, Japan and Germany will introduce new technologies in solid waste and wastewater treatment; industrial emissions and dust treatment; smells and noise handling in plants and factories; industrial sewage sludge treatment; medical waste treatment; wastewater treatment for mining industry, sludge treatment for thermoelectricity plants.
Korea - the co-organizer of the event also provides technologies for waste recycle, wastewater remote control system, and equipment in waste treatment.
The previous Entech Vietnam 2017 has attracted 170 companies from 6 countries for a total of 220 booths, along with nearly 36,000 visitors.
It is forecasted that the market volume of environmental technologies will grow to US$9.8 billion in 2030, in which the amount of solid waste to be recycled reaching 7,280 thousand tons per year in 2020 and 21,840 thousand tons per year in 2030, informed the official website of the event.
