Exhibition & Discussion with Author-Illustrator Jean-Charles Sarrazin

Discussion with author-illustrator Jean-Charles Sarrazin on his three books recently published in Vietnam.

Under the framework of the European Literature Days, we invite you to meet Jean-Charles Sarrazin and take a look at his three books recently published in Vietnam. His “Because I love you”, “Seed of love” and “What is that?” are three among several works illustrated by Sarrazin, with the stories of Pascale Teulade. One of them is a touching story about maternal love, one is full of humor – explaining to children how babies are created, and the last one is full of surprises – talking about the abundant imagination of children.
Jean-Charles Sarrazin is an illustrator from the Ecole des Loisirs publisher. He studied in Vietnam at the Vietnam University of Fine Arts in 1987. He currently teaches drawing, writing and illustrating stories for children.
Every morning, if possible, he draws his daily newspaper, from observations, meetings or memories, in the form of small comics. There are anecdotes about his life as a dad, which have also become the raw materials for his works.
Discussion language: French-Vietnamese translation.
Discussion with Author-Illustrator Jean-Charles Sarrazin will be held on Sat 06 May 2017, 6 pm and The exhibition will open on 06 May and be on display until 16 May 2017 (2nd floor) at L’Espace, 24 Trang Tien, Hanoi.
