Promotional programs, giveaways and product demonstrations are available to local consumers and visitors.

The opening ceremony of the "Food and Drink Hanoi 2023" fair, organized by the Hanoi Promotion Agency (HPA) in cooperation with the city's Departments of Industry and Trade and Agriculture and Rural Development, took place at Vincom Mega Mall Royal on July 13.

The event showcased 110 booths from approximately 100 businesses, cooperatives, and production units from Hanoi, as well as various provinces and cities across the country.

During his opening speech on July 13, Bui Duy Quang, Deputy Director of HPA, emphasized that the event provides local businesses with opportunities to promote and expand their markets, find outlets for their products, and enhance consumer awareness and trust in the quality and brand of farm produce, food, and beverages at an international level.

As part of the event, consumers and visitors to the city can also participate in promotional programs, receive gifts, and witness product demonstrations.

Local consumers are shopping at the fair.

Tran Thi Thuy, a resident of Vincom Royal City urban area, mentioned that through the fair, they have the opportunity to purchase specialties from various regions at affordable prices and food safety standards. These include frozen seafood from Quang Ninh and Thanh Hoa provinces, as well as durian from Dak Lak province.

During the fair, enterprises will display their specialties and processed foods from Hanoi and other localities across the country.

Dong Giao Foodstuff Export JSC participated in the event, bringing fruit-based drinks such as canned pineapple and bottled guava juice.

Dinh Cao Khue, chairman of the company, said the fair is an opportunity for companies to introduce their fruit-based beverages to consumers in the capital, while accessing modern retail systems to market their products.

"We hope to have more fairs where producers can connect and cooperate with businesses in provinces and cities to establish a stable supply of raw materials for fruit-based beverage production," he added.
