On February 2 (i.e 6th of Lunar January), Huong Pagoda Festival has been officially opened in Hanoi.

The organizing committee said that this year's Huong Pagoda Festival has been officially opened on the 6th of Lunar January and lasts until Lunar March. Huong Pagoda organizing committee is also expected to welcome around 1.3 to 1.5 million, with the revenue of about 100 billion.
Budget revenue is allowed for 100% beneficiary district, to reinvest and develop spiritual tourism for Huong Pagoda, an attractive destination for local and foreign tourists. In 2016, Huong Pagoda Festival has attracted a total of 1.45 million visitors.
In the early days, the organizing committee shows that there are nearly 40 thousand tourists visiting Huong Son landscape. Representatives of Huong Pagoda Festival in 2017 also adds that sightseeing fare in the current year is increased. Previously, Hanoi City Council has adopted a resolution on the prescribed rates, exemption and reduction, collection, management and use of some types of fees and charges under the jurisdiction of the City Council, including ticket prices for Huong Pagoda sightseeing.
