Companies will introduce brand-new travel offerings, including distinctive tours that offer new angles on the attractions of Hanoi and the surrounding areas.
The Hanoi Tourism Festival taking place on April 26-28, Hanoi’s largest annual tourism promotion event, is anticipated to welcome 50,000 visitors for the event themed "Thang Long - Hanoi, the Charming Capital."

Held at Thong Nhat Park in downtown Hanoi, the festival gathers 150 booths from Hanoi and 14 cities and provinces including the Northern provinces of Ha Giang, Yen Bai, Phu Tho, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Thai Binh, Ha Nam, and Ninh Binh; the Central provinces of Thanh Hoa, Quang Binh; the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum; and the Southern province of An Giang.
Prestigious units, organizations, and businesses participating in the event include Hanoitourist, the Hanoi Tourism Association, the Korea Tourism Organization, the Thang Long-Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center, Hanoi Museum, among others.

This year’s programs are centered around showcasing the fascinating historical and cultural sites of Hanoi, such as the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, the Temple of Literature, the Old Quarter, Ba Vi, Soc Son, and Duong Lam-Son Tay on the outskirts, as well as the monuments, craft villages, and cuisine of Hanoi and surrounding areas.
Honored by the international tourism site Tripadvisor as “World’s Leading Destination 2024” and “The world’s most attractive culinary destination 2024”, the festival is expected to promote many unique dishes such as West Lake shrimp cakes, snail vermicelli, Thanh Tri rice rolls, Phung spring rolls, Phu Thuong sticky rice bun thang (a chicken-based noodle soup from Hanoi), bun cha (grilled pork and noodles).

There will be performances of both contemporary and traditional arts like street dances, flash mobs, dragon dances, water puppet shows with the theme "Thang Long Imperial Citadel," folk instrument shows themed "The heroic capital," an Ao Dai (traditional long dress) show named "Golden History of Trang An," and an exhibition of paintings with the title "Emotions inside me."
Businesses are encouraged to offer alluring travel packages that entice visitors with excellent services at competitive costs.
