The documentary was exhibited at the Hanoi Opera House from October 9 to October 26, 2017. In order to facilitate the public's exploration of French architecture and access to valuable archives of these works, the Organizing Committee continued to include exhibits at the Exhibition Book of Hanoi from October 27 to November 5.

The exhibition will be the starting point for cooperation activities between the State Archives Department (the Ministry of the Interior), the French Embassy in Vietnam and the National Archives of France to strengthen the relationship between the two countries in the field of archives, heritage preservation. It is expected that the exhibition will be on display in France in 2018. The organizers hope the exhibition will give the public a better view of the colonial heritage of Hanoi during the colonial period as well. Accessing to archival material is of particular value to the historical and cultural studies as well as to the heritage preservation.

For nearly a century in Vietnam, the French have built a lot of office and cultural works in the style of the West and some in combination with the style of indigenous architecture and many villas with solid features and French architecture. French architecture has become a valuable cultural, architectural and functional heritage in Hanoi as well as many other cities in Vietnam.
