Fruit and vegetable exports are forecast to set a new record high of US$1.4 billion by the end of the year, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

In the third quarter of 2014, China, Japan and the Republic of Korea are the top three largest importers of the nation’s fruits and vegetables.

Notably, fruit and vegetable exports also show positive signs of increasing to Hong Kong and Saudi Arabia-United Arab Emirates.
