Hanoi defines green space as an indispensable part in its residents` lives as well as urban development strategy.
The Nhan Chinh park with a regulating lake is scheduled to open to the public on September 10, adding large green space to residents living nearby.
The park is located in Thanh Xuan and Cau Giay districts, spanning an area of about 13.2 hectares, of which the water surface area occupies eight hectares. The new park will help regulate the air in the area and create a healthy and fresh environment.
A 5-plus hectare area is devoted entirely to flower gardens and trees, designed to create a beautiful scenery. The whole system of trees has been planted synchronously. At the same time, the road around the lake, the square, the fountain, the amusement park, the parking lot are arranged in harmony with the park landscape.
Construction of the Nhan Chinh regulating lake park project, invested by the People's Committee of Thanh Xuan district, started in May 2016. The project cost nearly VND299 billion (US$12.86 million), sourced from the district’s budget. From September 10, the park is open to Hanoi’s residents for free, from 6am to 9am and from 5pm to 8pm.
Putting the park into use will not only contribute to effectively exploiting land funds, creating urban landscape but also will bring Hanoi’s residents and visitors an ideal space for relaxation, playing and sports activities.
The park will also set up a modern landscape along Le Van Luong and Khuat Duy Tien roads, in line with the capital’s general planning to 2030 and vision to 2050.
Around the park, there are many condominium projects such as Mandarin Garden of Hoa Phat Group, D'Capitale of Vingroup and Tan Hoang Minh.
According to Mr.Le Hong Thang, director of the Project Management Unit in Thanh Xuan district, Phuc Loi Trade Development Services Co., Ltd. was assigned to build a five-floor parking lot, trade and service areas within the park. After the parking lot is completed, the technical infrastructure system will be connected and synchronously completed.
Once the construction of Hoa Muc ditch nearby the park, renovation of the pavement of Hoang Minh Giam street adjacent to the park, the park will become spacious and own a synchronous landscape architecture, Thang said.
