Hanoi announces a plan of Soc Son cultural tourism site

According to the plan announced recently by the Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture, the historical Soc Temple monument complex in Phu Linh commune in Soc Son district will be converted into a cultural tourism site.

Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture handed over to Soc Son district the detailed plan at the rate 1/500 of Soc Son cultural tourist site.
Under the plan, the historical Soc Temple monument complex in Phu Linh commune, Soc Son district will be developed into a cultural tourism site.
The site has the total area of ​nearly ​32ha, which will have libraries, showrooms, hotels and resorts.

Located in a vast mountainous area, the Soc Temple relic complex has Soc Temple of Saint Giong, one of four Vietnamese immortals; the Mau (Mother) Temple for worshiping Saint Giong's mother; and Saint Giong's Statue.
According to Chairman of the district People's Committee Vuong Van But, the cultural tourism site was planned on the basis of promoting the local potential and advantages.
The cultural site, along with the Vietnam Buddhism Institute and Non (Mountain) Pagoda, will give visitors an exposure to folk culture.
