The event featured 50 booths from over 30 domestic and international businesses and organizations in addition to interactive displays, real-life games, and gift exchanges with environmentally friendly products.

One of the event's highlights is the talk show "Green Business: Creating Sustainable Value from the Roots," which shares green tech experiences for sustainable production and explores e-commerce's impact on sustainable consumption.

Another session, “Greening Life - From Ideas to Action,” focuses on guiding consumers toward eco-friendly consumption habits, including the use of natural materials.

At the launch event on June 27, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan said that promoting sustainable production and consumption helps enhance national competitiveness, responds to climate change, and meets consumers' rising expectations.

He said the program aims to raise awareness and promote sustainable consumer behavior through coordinated activities regarding policymaking, market expansion, and technology adoption.

In recent years, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has boosted green production and consumption, contributing to Vietnam’s progress toward a circular economy.

This program is part of Decision No. 889/QD-TTg, which approves the National Action Program on Sustainable Production and Consumption for 2021–2030. It also supports Resolution No. 57/NQ-CP regarding the development of a national innovation ecosystem by 2030.

The resolution emphasizes the central role of innovative businesses in transforming the growth model toward sustainable development.
