Hanoi: holding exchange program of typical cultural villages

Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports has approved a plan that the exchange program of typical cultural villages is scheduled to be held in the end of June, 2017.


The program aims at honoring cultural villages in strengthening the movement “All people unite to build cultural life”; improving the cultural life in localities; remarkably promoting the process of new style rural area building; developing culture and building elegant, civilized Hanoians.

The event is a chance for villages to exchange valuable experiences in practical construction of cultural villages. On the basis of realities, the villages will propose and recommend the capital city to adjust suitable measures, mechanisms, policies so as as bring into full play their power for socio - economic development in the area.

Accordingly, the exchange program will focus on two key activities, including a music performance contest among cultural villages and a conference on exchanging good experiences in building cultural villages, communes which meet new style rural cultural standards.

Especially, the conference will concentrate on exchanging good experiences, methods as well as improving the role of authorities at all levels, sectors, collectives, social organizations in the process of building cultural villages and new style rural cultural communes; strengthening communication, popularization to encourage local people to take part in the cultural village building; sharing experiences in overcoming difficulties, shortcomings in building cultural models in association with new style rural areas and so on.
