The “Feel Russia” festival featuring important creative achievements in Russian culture opened in Hanoi on September 26.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Russian Ambassador to Vietnam Konstantin Vnukov said cultural exchanges formed an important part of the dynamic Vietnam-Russia relations over the past 65 years.
The festival sees the participation of "Russian Style" – an orchestra of folk instruments, "Double Max" – a duet of young students from the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music and Northern Dawns Folk Dance Ensemble – a group helping to spread folk music across Russia.
The two-day event will also present the photo exhibition "Beautiful Country" depicting Russian nature and tourist attractions.
The festival takes place at Hanoi's Palace of Culture and Friendship.
