Hanoi Leaders met oversea national on occasion of 70th National Day

On 31st Aug, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee, Le Hong Son met delegation of Vietnam oversea national, part of their trip to mother country to attend 70th Ceremony of August Revolution and National Day.

Speaking at the receipt, Vice Chairman Le Hong Son affirmed, Hanoi taking vast changing step, becoming “national centre of politic – administration, great centre of culture, science, economic and international trade”. In struggling period of 2011 – 2015, with wordwide economy suffering from instability and crisis, Hanoi economy still remain the bright side with GDP increasing 9,23%, 1,58 times by that of the country.
Oversea Vietnamese community (OVC) contributed remarkably to these achievement. Until now, there are 12 foreign direct investment project by OVC with total investment of  210,458 million USD. These projects made huge contribution to the Capital social, economic development, facilitating the channel of invesment and experiment sharing, creating jobs for thousand people.
On behalf of  Hanoi Leaders, Vice Chairman highly appreciate the contribution of OVC, and asserted, Hanoi goverment would facilitate by any means for them to visit country, participating in pushing Hanoi development.
At the receipt, respresentatives of OVC expressed their happiness with Hanoi achievement through the past 70 years, as well as with atmostphere of upcoming 70th ceremony of August Revolution and National Day. Among them, there are famous faces such as composer  Nguyen Thien Dao, Professor Nguyen Hoang Dai Trang from Toronto University, Canada, author of two books on President Ho Chi Minh.
