Senior North Korean officials are on Maybach 62S following him on the section of 170 km from the northern province of Lang Son’s Dong Dang railway station to Hanoi.
The delegation traveled through Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces before reaching Hanoi. Along the road heading to Hanoi, people gathered to welcome the North Korean leader and the officials.
Meanwhile, thousands residents and reporters are waiting for him along streets in Hanoi, portraiting an image unseen before.
