Hanoi offers free double-decker tickets in commemorating Liberation Day
Locals and visitors to Hanoi can enjoy free-of-charge city tours on double-decker buses on the occasion of the Liberation of the City today [October 10].

On October 10, there will be six free bus trips for locals and tourists, each scheduled one hour apart, starting at 7:30 AM. The total number of passengers for free transport capacity today is more than 1,000.
Travelers can take a one-hour-tour around Hanoi on three double-decker buses which start and end at the left side of Hanoi Opera House. The double-decker buses route passes through famous old streets in Hanoi such as Trang Tien - Dinh Tien Hoang - Le Thai To - Trang Thi - Dien Bien Phu - Hoang Dieu - Nguyen Bieu - Quan Thanh - Hung Vuong - Hoang Van Thu - Doc Lap - Chu Van An - Le Hong Phong - turning around on Le Hong Phong - Hung Vuong - Nguyen Thai Hoc - Le Duan - Ly Thuong Kiet - Phan Chu Trinh - Hai Ba Trung - Le Thanh Tong.
Visiting Hanoi by double-decker and open-top bus is one of the most exciting activities thanks to the open-air design and the experience of visiting famous destinations and landmarks around Hoan Kiem Lake.

Previously, the Hanoi Transport Corporation collaborated with the Hanoi Department of Tourism to offer free bus trips for attendees wearing Ao Dai during the Hanoi Ao Dai Tourism Festival, which took place from October 4 to 6 at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel. Launched in 2018, the experience has appealed to both local people and domestic and international tourists.
A double-decker ticket is around VND200,000 (US$8.5) for a two-hour tour and VND650,000 ($28) for a 48-hour tour.
In addition, the Hanoi Department of Transportation also organizes the division of buses in the inner city, departing from the gateways of Hanoi to some highlight tourist attractions such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Temple of Literature, Vietnam Military Museum, Thu Le Park, Hoan Kiem Lake, Hoa Lo Prison Relic, Hanoi Opera House, among others.
